A meal at a fast food restaurant could expose children to "staggeringly" high levels of salt, a survey has suggested. Lobby group, Consensus Action on Salt and Health (Cash), found one meal from Pizza Hut contained four times the daily limit of salt for a six-year old.
I am so glad that I wasn’t raised with foods like this on a regular basis. My parents made just about every meal from scratch. The two things that they didn’t cook from scratch were Hamburger Helper and Shake n Bake.
When I am in grocery stores,I look at what people are putting in there shopping carts. Carts fill to the rim with conveniences food. I know that these are a time- saver but, at what cost?
Take the time to read the label and take note of the about of sugar, salt and fat that these foods contain. After reading it, you make want to reduce these foods in your diet.
