Researchers examined the eating habits of 5,390 pairs of twins between 8 and 11 years old and found children’s aversions to trying new foods are mostly inherited. The message to parents: It’s not your cooking, it’s your genes.You get that from your moma!
When I was growing up I had to eat everything that was put on my plate. All kinds of exotic foods, burnt foods, funky stews all ended up on my plate. I guess that is one of the reason that I went to Culinary school, go figure.
